A truck is any vehicle that transports loads and has a permissible total weight of more than 3.5 tons. Thus, in addition to conventional semi-trailers and cargo transport trucks, many other vehicles qualify as trucks! Let's take a look at some of them:

   Animal transporters are designed for the safe transport of live animals. These special trucks are used to transport animals to and from farms.    While smaller motorboats can still be towed by an SUV, boat transport trucks are specifically designed for the road transport of large and valuable boats. These trucks have a low-loading platform, making it easier to load and unload boats safely. In Hungary, they are rarely seen due to the lack of a coastline, but in neighboring European countries, large boat transports are more common.
   
   
3. Highway Maintenance Vehicles
   Highway maintenance trucks are equipped with specialized tools since they need to carry all the equipment and materials required for such maintenance tasks. These maintenance vehicles are often seen during the renovation of highway sections.
   
   
4. Log Transport Trucks
   Log transport trucks are designed for transporting large quantities of timber. These forestry crane trucks are particularly common in agriculture and forestry, where moving large tree trunks is necessary. You may also encounter them on the road, where it's advisable to maintain a larger following distance for safety.
   
   
5. Concrete Mixer Trucks
   The concrete mixer truck is an essential part of any construction site. The continuous movement of the mixing drum keeps the concrete fluid and ready for use over extended periods. Typically, the concrete is poured out from the steel or fiberglass drum located at the back of the vehicle.
   
   
6. Fire Truck with Crane
   Due to its size, a large fire truck is also considered a type of truck. Its primary function is to transport firefighters, water supplies, and other necessary equipment to the scene. Besides firefighting, these trucks are also used for technical rescues, such as from great heights or depths, and the required equipment is also part of their cargo.
   
   
7. Crane Trucks, Mobile Cranes
   Crane trucks consist of two main parts: the crane and the truck that carries and operates it. Their uniqueness lies in their ability to travel on roads without needing special equipment or additional transport. At the job site, they can be stabilized with counterweights and support arms. The crane's size can reach several dozen meters, and certain models have significant lifting capacities.
   
   
8. Tow Truck with Crane
   The tow truck with a lifting arm is designed for transporting broken-down or impounded vehicles and can carry almost anything that has four wheels and can be properly secured on the trailer. Interestingly, the first tow truck was invented in 1916 in Tennessee when six men used ropes to pull a vehicle out of a spring, leading to the development of modern trailer-based towing.
   
   
9. Snow Plow
   Like the other specialized vehicles on this list, the snow plow has its own unique equipment. Interestingly, the plow never rests its full weight on the road surface; instead, the vehicle's hydraulics keep it slightly elevated, allowing it to glide on its plastic edge.
   
   
10. Sprinkler Truck
    Another seasonal vehicle is the sprinkler truck, used for transporting and spraying water for various purposes, such as road maintenance, dust control, or irrigation of agricultural areas. These trucks are equipped with large water tanks and pumps to ensure a steady water pressure for spraying.
